Artist's statement:
Nature in the coastal landscape is stong and primal. The pull of the tide is felt from the close shoreline to the expanse of the outercape.

From the Pamet riverbed the abrupt forms of Corn Hill, Tom's Hill, and Poor's Hill accent the strength of this tidal cycle.With my boots firmly planted in the sand, I watch the tide inch into and out of the riverbed while the sky and sea expand beyond my vision.
