Artist's statement:
As the land mass of Cape Cod protrudes into the water, it creates edges. These edges between land, sky and water have been my source of images for this season. The edges are sinuous and organic, pulling the viewer toward the distant horizon. I consider also the edges in my finished work—crisp, defined pull close while soft, muted move away. This exhibition progressed from last year's concentration on distance.
